Wear-resistant coatings
Wear-resistant coatingse
Coatings protect the element against wear and provide self-sharpening properties. The layers we use contain up to 60% of tungsten carbide or oxides of titanium and chromium.
– Cold applied coatings
Used for components with low mechanical stress. With this method, we do not bring in heat to the base material. The coatings are 0.3mm to 3mm thick. Our offer also includes coatings based on ceramics or tungsten carbide.
– Minimal deformation
– No structural changes
– Variety of coatings depending on the application
Diffusion bonded coatings
Used for elements that require greater strength. The coating has a diffusion connection with the substrate. In this way, you can protect elements with a small cross-section. The coatings have a thickness of between 0.2 and 0.6mm.
– High coating adherence
– Very thin coatings
– Low coefficient of friction
Laser or plasma applied coatings
Used for elements requiring very high mechanical strength. During surfacing, a full metallurgical bond of the coating with the base material is created. Coatings applied in this way can have a thickness of 0.3 to 10 mm.
– Full metallurgical connection
– The possibility of applying thick coatings
– Very high mechanical strength of the coatings
